If you were going to deny a lesbian rumor on camera, would you do it sitting next to Cara Delevingne? Kendall Jenner did, and it went about as well as you would hope.
"People think I'm a lesbian, to this day," she told Delevingne on Thursday's episode of Hulu's The Kardashians, per both People and Us Weekly, which each transcribed it. "I'm not."
Then she kept going. "I wouldn't be opposed to having some fun with a girl," she said. "For the record, I think being a lesbian would be fun and amazing." People's transcript has her finishing the thought with "and easier? I don't know. Men suck."
And then: "By the way, I have nothing against having sex with Cara. I just have never had a desire to have sex with women." People says she followed that by announcing she had been served too much wine.
the timeline is doing a lot here
It is tempting to read this as a journey. In January, Jenner told Owen Thiele's In Your Dreams podcast, per Us Weekly, "I think at this point in my life I'd be out if I was," and that "as of today, I am not. I don't think I will be, but I'm not closing doors to experiences in life." Now, nine months later, men suck and Cara is on the table. Character development!
Except it runs the other way. People reports the backstage conversation was filmed in September 2025, at a Paris Fashion Week show, before the podcast and before she was linked to Jacob Elordi. So the "men suck" Kendall is the earlier one. The January Kendall, the one closing fewer doors, came after.
The rumor itself is older than the show. She addressed it in a 2018 Vogue interview, as PinkNews reported at the time, saying people thought it because "no one ever saw me with a guy."
the other person in the room
Delevingne, for her part, was asked to vouch. "I can attest to the fact that you're not," she said, per People. Delevingne told Variety in May, as PinkNews noted, that she is "very happy to say I'm a lesbian," which makes her both the most qualified witness available and the funniest possible choice of co-star for this particular scene.
Our verdict: not gay, firmly anti-men, would consider Cara. Straight girls have said all three on a group chat. Very few have said it to a camera crew.
