Somebody asked Ryan Murphy about Glee at a party, and the man had an answer ready. "Well, funny you ask, cause I just finished the script an hour ago."

That was Wednesday, at FX's celebration of American Horror Story at the Hotel Chelsea in New York, according to GMA. Talking to Entertainment Tonight, per TheWrap, Murphy said he, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, the trio who wrote the first two seasons, have written something, and that he has "been in touch with around 10 of the original cast members. It's very sweet, and they all had a lot of questions, but they all were very enthusiastic about the idea."

Then, the most Ryan Murphy sentence ever spoken: "Nobody's read it, so I don't know, we'll see." He said he had vowed to write a couple of them "to see what people think, particularly the cast, cause we were very close when we were making it."

No network, no premiere date, no named cast. Glee ran on Fox from 2009 to 2015, taught a generation of us what a mashup was, and gave Kurt Hummel a slushie to the face so the rest of us would not have to explain it at school. Whatever this is, a script finished an hour before a party is the most show choir thing that could possibly have happened.
