Two years ago, a trans woman in angel wings was a headline. This year it was a returning cast member, and the wings were gold.

Alex Consani walked the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Sunday, Oct. 18, at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, after the show moved from New York to Los Angeles this season, Hello! notes. It is her third year in a row, per Victoria's Secret's own cast announcement. She made her debut in 2024.

Two looks, per PinkNews: a baby pink lingerie set with the brand's logo embossed on it, under a striped, sparkling emerald cape with a long train, and then a black lace bodysuit with enormous gold wings. Hello! singled out the wings too. Per Hello!, she shared the runway with Gigi and Bella Hadid, Adriana Lima, Ashley Graham and a surprise Kylie Jenner, while Megan Thee Stallion and Tate McRae performed. No notes.

Under her Instagram post, PinkNews reports, Laverne Cox wrote "Stunning superstar! Supermodel! Angel!" Rachel Zegler wrote "My girlll." Hailey Bieber said it in one word: "Gagged." The brand's own account weighed in with "Our angel."

Consani has been making this look easy for a while: PinkNews notes she was the first trans model to win Model of the Year at the Fashion Awards, in 2024. In a fall when England is sorting hospital patients by "biological sex", a trans girl in gold wings on the biggest lingerie runway on earth is not nothing. It is, in fact, a lot.
