Gay Water vs High Noon, Nütrl & White Claw

we get asked how gay water stacks up against the big canned vodka drinks. here's the label math, side by side. numbers are pulled from each brand's own website (as of september 2026); recipes change, so check your can.

* High Noon values shown are for the Passionfruit flavor; its sugar and carbs vary a little by flavor (roughly 2–3 g sugar). Nütrl and White Claw don't publish every figure on their sites, so those cells say so rather than guess.

what that actually means

  • 20 fewer calories per can than each of the three.
  • 0 g sugar and 0 g carbs. the others get their sugar from real fruit juice, which is a legit choice; it's just not ours. we use natural flavor instead of juice, so there's nothing to add sugar.
  • 3 ingredients. vodka, sparkling water, natural flavor. that's the whole label.
  • 4% vs 4.5% abv. a slightly gentler buzz per can, which is the point of a vodka soda.

everyone here uses real vodka and everyone that says so is gluten-free. the difference is sugar, carbs, calories and how short the ingredient list is.

the honest caveats

we compared what each brand publishes, not every flavor of every line. if you spot a number that's changed, email us and we'll fix it. full gay water numbers are on the nutrition page.
